New Peugeot RCZ
Peugeot RCZ
From £20,450
It made headlines when the
concept car was unveiled at last year’s Frankfurt Motor Show. And
the stunning RCZ is continuing to cause a sensation.
The compact 2+2 Coupé, which will go on sale in spring 2010, is unique
in many ways – not least because it’s the first Peugeot vehicle not
to use the zero or double zero numbering system. Instead, it will go purely by
the name RCZ – taking a premium position in Peugeot’s line-up.
An exclusive vehicle that oozes quality and performance, the RCZ
is aimed at people who take their driving enjoyment seriously. And it’s already got
a legion of fans. Indeed, the exceptional reaction to the concept model in 2007
helped convince Peugeot to make the RCZ a reality.
Since then, a dedicated team of stylists and engineers have worked
together to ensure that the final production vehicle is fully in keeping
with the expectations created by the exterior styling of the concept car.
In short, they have made sure the car drives as beautifully as it looks.
It has been a challenging time for the project team, as they aimed
to complete the development of the RCZ in just two years. And they have
achieved their goal, for the production RCZ was unveiled at September’s
Frankfurt Motor Show – the same place the concept car was unveiled
in 2007.
